Robert Mugabe Blasts Nelson Mandela Calls him - “Coward” And “Idiot”

Zimbabwean President in a recent rally, lambasted respected South African leader, Nelson Mandela, calling him an “idiot and a “coward”. The rally had been organized to celebrate his record seventh term in office following his victory in the country’s disputed elections last week.

Here’s what he said:“I have been leader for 33 years. Mandela was president for five years. What kind of idiot gives up political power? Great leaders like me know how to stay in power.

“While Mandela sits comfortably in a hospital, I stand before you fit and healthy, ready to lead this country and the Zimbabwean people for at least another 25 years”

Mugabe who called himself the “greatest leader in the history of Africa” then went ahead to say that he should be hailed as an African hero instead of Mandela, the anti-apartheid icon and former president of neighboring South Africa.

My opinion: The moment you have to struggle to get acclaimed, push and fight to get recognized and bring down someone else to attain popularity, check well and notice that you may not be leading at all, you might just be taking a stroll!

  1. This man must be a complete fool together with the people he is leading, how could you most corrupted president in africa compare yourself with one of the most respected former president not only in Africa but in the entire world. If other african leaders are as greedy as you, what would have become the fate of African in hands of the rest of the world. Can't he learn from the past president who are as greedy as him, I am quite sure he is going to end the same way they did. Mugabe you are a disgrace to your country and to the entire African continent.
