the Big thieves - Farouk Lawan & Boniface Enemalo Granted Bail

One week after the duo of Farouk Lawan and Boniface Enemalo were arraigned in Court for allegedly obtaining bribe during investigations on the fuel subsidy fraud, they have been granted bail at N10 million each.(Is this the prize u pay for stealing such an enormous amount? *sighs*) Lawan and Enemalo were arraigned by the EFCC on a seven-count charge of corruptly soliciting bribe of $3million (N450 million) from an independent oil marketer, Femi Otedola.

The bribe was allegedly to ensure that Otedola’s company, Zenon Oil and Gas was removed from the list of indicted oil marketers in the infamous fuel subsidy scam. The trial has been set for the 10th and 17th of April 2013.

The "Corporate" thieves were also asked to deposit their travel documents with the court registrar. It takes two to tango for this kinda crime..there is the giver and the taker of bribe. Why is the giver(Otedola) flexing and waxing strong when he's supposed to be prosecuted too? Is it because he is close to the powers that be? Clearly a case of untouchable big fishes in the corridors of power...da vulnerable and less privileged are @ the mercy of the connected and mighty ----Welcome to Nigeria's flawed legal system#
