Nigerians Can Now Watch AFCON 2013 Final From The Comfort of Their Homes - BON

The Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria (BON) has confirmed that Nigerians will be able to watch the final match of the 2013 African Cup of Nations, (AFCON) between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Stallions of Burkina Faso on Sunday.

The match will be aired live on local stations, the regulatory body confirmed.

BON now has an agreement with the Confederation of African Football and Broadcast Rights owners of the African Cup of Nations, AFCON 2013.

Television broadcasters in Nigeria couldn't pay the sum of N1.4Billion bill demanded by the French company that had bought the rights to the tournament from CAF. Thank heavens that they now have a new deal...because Nigeria don reach final. I guess the TV stations dint want to risk their funds cos they thought Olamide was a prophet "..other rappers be like Nigeria Super Eagles; dem no dey reach final" - (Olamide- Nigeria rapper)
