When Jay-Z’s “Somewhereinamerica” dropped and I heard the closing of the song, “somewhereinamerica, Miley Cyrus is still twerkin…” I thought it was unique and creative just like all the other things Jay-Z does. But more importantly, it flowed!
Many people wonder where the irony comes in. I guess you all forgot about Miley’s Jay-Z reference in her song “Party In The U.S.A.,” remember when she said, “…and a Jay-Z song was onnnnn.” Who know’s if Jay-Z through the line in because Miley did it first, or just because it worked?
