Rapper Andre 3000′s found mum dead

Sharon Benjamin-Hodo, mother of popular US rapper Andre 3000 is dead, a rep for the rapper has confirmed to Billboard.com. Billboard is reporting that Benjamin-Hodo was found dead in her Atlanta home on Monday May 27, 2013, the same day as Andre’s 38th birthday.

Cause of death remains unknown, the rapper hasn’t spoken to the press either. Andre 3000 (real name André Lauren Benjamin) is best known for being part of hip-hop duo OutKast alongside fellow rapper Big Boi.
