Michael Jackson's Killer - Conrad Murray Turns Musician From Jail

Conrad Murray has a lot on his mind and he isn't afraid to put it in song. The doctor convicted of over-prescribing powerful pain killers to Michael Jackson, leading to his untimely death, granted CNN two interviews from his jail cell and surprised host Anderson Cooper by bursting into song.
During a live interview aired on Tuesday evening, Murray belted out Nat King Cole's "The Little Boy That Santa Claus Forgot," saying the song "tells my story." The interviews are the first Murray has given since his November 2011 conviction of involuntary manslaughter and come just as trial begins on a wrongful death lawsuit against AEG Live brought on by the King of Pop's mother Katherine Jackson and family.

"My entire approach may not have been an orthodox approach, but my intentions were good," Murray told Cooper about his use of Propofol to treat Jackson's insomnia. He added to CNN's Don Lemon, who conducted the first interview, that he felt he was a scapegoat who was "in the wrong place at the wrong time."

"I have taken the front of the storm for the entire life of a man 50 years old, who has had a monumentally destructive, painful life that has been so damaged it is of huge proportions," Murray told Lemon.

"All of the mishaps that he has encountered in life seem to trickle down on me and I think that is the definition of a scapegoat. Nobody has taken any responsibilities for anything that they may have done to this man but, because I was in the wrong place at the wrong time, then here I am."

Murray, who hopes to have his sentence overturned, gave Cooper and Lemon details about his relationship with Jackson, the pop star's addictions and their last few hours together.

Murray is expected to be released this coming October. Does this guy deserve to stay in jail longer than expected? What do you think? please drop your comment(s)
