Henry Okah's aide Edmund Ebuware sentenced to life imprisonment

A Federal High Court Judge, Justice Gabriel Kolawole, has sentenced Edmund Ebuware to life imprisonment for having a link with Henry Okah over the October 1, 2010 bombings in Abuja. Ebuware was in court over allegations of having a pre- information about the October 1, car bomb blasts in Abuja and hiding it from the authorities. He was convicted when the prosecuting counsel proved its point beyond reasonable doubts.

Justice Kolawole, however, said that Ebuware, if found to be of good conduct, could enjoy a parole, subject to the approval of the president after serving 32 years of his life sentence jail term. Meanwhile, after his conviction, and getting a hug from his young wife, Ebuware caused a drama at the court premises as he claimed to be innocent of the charges he was convicted for. He uncontrollably cried and was held by some security operatives at the court as he struggled to fight some of them.

  2. I quite agree with the last comment but evidence is over-whelmingly tilted against Henry Okah and his aides..don't forget Henry was also convicted in a South-African court..I just tink d life imprisonment on his aide is quite harsh since he wasn't d main mastermind!
