If Lagos-based Customs officer, Mr. James Gadzama Pallam had known, he
would have thought of another way to honour his brother, Emmanuel, whose
wedding he attended in Maiduguri, Borno State on April 7, 2013 with
seven members of his family.
Mr. Pallam, an Inspector, had travelled from Madagali in Adamawa State, for the wedding and till today, the family
of eight are still missing. He and his wife had phoned the extended
family to tell them about the success of the ceremony and that they
would be coming back on April 8, not knowing that there was an imminent
danger.

Cristiano Ronaldo insists he was only giving interviews –not giving a
Brazilian model a good time – after denying claims he cheated on his
girlfriend Irina Shayk 48 hours before a Champion’s League game last
month.
The Portuguese winker dismantled the love rat allegations after
27-year-old Brazilian model Andressa Urach, who goes by the name of Miss
BumBum, claimed the former Manchester United player snuck her in and
out of a Madrid hotel last month in a military-style operation.
Slamming the blonde on Twitter the Real Madrid star said Urach was ‘someone seeking the limelight on my account’.
The 28-year-old continued: ‘And I wonder why this happens one day
before a very important game for my team. Deeply outraged by a situation
intended, in vain, to affect my personal life.’
His outrage came after Urach alleged the player invited her to visit
his suite at the £12,500-a-night Villa Magna hotel before his Champions

She claims Ronaldo got in touch on text and Skype after seeing her pictures online and nicknamed her ‘little horse’.
Boasting about her tryst in the footballer’s suite, Urach told a
Sunday tabloid: ‘It was incredible, his body’s perfect, like a Greek
god. He went on for hours and would not stop talking about my butt.’
She added: ‘I have always thought Cristiano is one of the most
gorgeous men in the world, so I couldn’t believe it when he got in touch
with me.’
But the dad-of-one says he’d never cheat on his 27-year-old model girlfriend of three years.
Finishing off his fightback on Twitter, Ronaldo added: ‘I just want
to clarify I was in fact at the Hotel Villa Magna on April 22 giving an
interview to Manu Sainz, something the reporter himself is able to
corroborate. Everything else is pure fiction and forgery.’
