This news came through today and it is just so sad.
At least 44 worshippers have been shot dead at a mosque in Borno State. Announcing this yesterday, authorities said the killings occurred in the town of Konduga, near Maiduguri, during morning prayers on Sunday. The gunmen are suspected to be from the Islamist group Boko Haram, which has killed thousands in northern Nigeria since 2009.
