Booth Garner, former two-term Washington governor passed away on Friday
at his Tacoma home. He was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease two years
after he ended his last term as the state’s 19th governor.
In his
biography, he was asked how he wanted to be remembered, he said, “I
tried to help people,” then goes on to say, “I got out of the office and
talked with real people, and I think I made a difference.” We send our
prayers and respect to his family!
